Learn to play Cipherfall
Start with cybersecurity-themed cards, learn a game mode, and play in your browser.
What is Cipherfall?
Cipherfall is a card gaming system built around cybersecurity attack and defense. Cards represent tactics, vulnerabilities, and characters in the digital landscape. Their abilities can support aggressive offense, defensive play, or a balance of both.
How do I start playing?
Start with the guided Victory Point Race tutorial to learn the basics. Then choose a game mode and read its rules. If you want to try a small practice game first, Prompt2Pwn practice provides all 15 cards with temporary artwork and no account or rewards.
Which game modes can I play?
The game library includes Victory Point Race, War Room, Hack Back, and Root Access Path. Each mode has its own rules, frequently asked questions, and strategy guide. Begin with one mode rather than trying to learn every ruleset at once.
Do I need an account?
You can read the guides, use the tutorial, and try Prompt2Pwn practice without an account. Collection-based games use the cards available to your current collection. Guest progress is temporary and cannot transfer to an account. Log in to begin a separate account journey and link progress to your email.
Can I play in a browser or on Android?
You can play Cipherfall in your browser. Android early access is also available: first join the Cipherfall early-access Google Group, then install the app from Google Play. The game guides are also available in the mobile app.
Where can I find the rules and strategies?
The Game Guides library groups rules, FAQs, and strategy by mode. Use a mode’s rules for the full reference, its FAQ for specific questions, and its strategy guide as you gain experience.
