War Room FAQ
Answers to common questions about War Room.
Frequently asked questions
Does reaching 0 or 35 VC score a point?
No. War Room compares resulting VC; the lowest wins the round. VC is not clamped, so negative values count normally. VPR point thresholds do not apply.
Can I wait to see another activation before deciding?
No. Every participating player declares activate or decline before any activation resolves. Declared activations then resolve clockwise from the first player.
Does a tie reveal another card?
No. The tied players continue with the same revealed cards and their existing VC and effects. Only players still tied for lowest VC participate in the next tie-break.
Can I target a player outside the tie-break?
Their revealed card stays in play and remains a legal target if the card instructions allow it. Hidden stacks and collection piles are never targets.
What happens when a draw stack runs out?
After the round, eliminate players with no cards anywhere. If any remaining draw stack is empty, every remaining player shuffles their own draw stack and collection pile together.
Does Defend Ally work in individual play?
Each player has only one revealed card, so there is no other friendly target. That instruction has no effect; resolve the remaining instructions.
