War Room Strategy
Practical advice for planning your next move.
Compare VC before committing
Lower VC wins the round. Declining can preserve an already strong position when activation risks raising your VC or helping an opponent.
Plan for simultaneous declarations
Decide from the public board before resolution starts. Do not rely on changing your declaration after seeing an earlier player’s result.
Use the whole revealed board
Players outside a tie-break still have revealed cards that may be legal targets. Resolve all mandatory effects and check who benefits from a shared effect.
Track the next shuffle
Collection piles become draw stacks again at the shared reshuffle step. A round win increases the cards you can bring into later cycles; hidden piles cannot be targeted.
